Help the Needy is honored to be a part of Charitable Treasures Vino and Notes. Our booth will be offering cheese, fruit and crackers to compliment the delectable wine selection. Our staff will be available for sharing information about Help the Needy and our upcoming events. (Will provide more info as it becomes available.)

Can you smell the pies? This year Help the Needy will be offering their ever popular Beer Bread, Wine Cake, and a large assortment of pies for your enjoyment! Last year, a remarkable $1,100 worth of pastries were sold! We hope to beat that this year with the help from our wonderful bakers!
Garage Sale - July 17, 2010
Every summer, a wonderful lady named Karen, and her team of volunteers from Help the Needy, the Knights of Columbus, St. Mary’s High School, and members from other organizations in Woodland Park, host the biggest and best Garage Sale in town! The sale begins at 9 a.m., Saturday, July 17 and ends when the crowd dies down around 1:30 p.m. Items for the Garage Sale may be dropped off at Our Lady of the Woods on Thursday, July 15 or Friday, July 16. Please no clothing or computer items. This is one of Help the Needy’s largest fund raisers! Come early for the best selection!

4th of July - July 4th, 2010
Join in the fun at “Kiddie Fest”! Free games! Free prizes! Ring toss, ball toss, basketball throw, darts, and a fishing pond complete with a ping-pong ball throw will begin at 8 and conclude at 3. Entrances to “Kiddie Fest” will be through the booth as well as at the 2 parking lot entrances. Follow the signs and balloons to join in the fun!
While the kids are enjoying “Kiddie Fest”, stop by to visit our Craft Booth featuring artwork created by the talented Crafters at Help the Needy. Floral décor, hand-made Aspen crosses, potpourri baskets, Victorian style miser purses and our own Help the Needy line of scented candles will be available for your pleasure.

Valentine's Sweetheart Ball - February 12th, 2010
Once again, Craig Harms and his 18 piece orchestra, Swing Factory, honored us with hours of listening and dancing music. Photographs were taken by Teresa Lee Photography. Bruce Kinney has graciously offered to be head “Chef”. Lisa Keuhlen committed to oversee the servers and kitchen serving process. A silent and live auction was held. Please join us again in 2011!
